The George’s take on this Portuguese classic is easy to make and even easier to eat! Just follow the guidelines below for a tasty snack or a light lunch.
500 g salted codfish
250 g potatoes
30 g parsley
Salt, pepper and nutmeg
Boil the codfish for about 10 minutes or until soft.
Drain all remaining water using a tea towel.
Boil the potatoes until soft, remove the skin and mash them.
In another recipient, mix together the cod, the potatoes, the parsley and the spices.
Add the eggs and adjust the spices to your taste.
With the help of 2 soup spoons, mold the batter into little balls.
Fry them in a pan with hot oil.
Enjoy warm or cold!
